I was so pleased to have the lovely Jess recommended to me by the Natural Undertaking. From the start, she was such a support. She gave her time generously to get to know my husband and who he was as a man. She helped me enormously to get the day just right. Everyone who attended felt so warmly towards her, and she really made the day special. She spoke beautifully and and managed to relax people so they were able to stand up and speak, which for our family felt very special. Many friends now feel very differently about their send off. I whole heartedly recommend her.

Ive just attended a funeral ceremony led by Jess. It was absolutely wonderful and by far the best celebration of a life well lived that Ive ever attended. This was no easy task because it was a complicated and unexpected death. Jess brought a serene authority and exceptional capacity to hold the guests emotionally. There was some (appropriate) humour and warmth and her natural, unpretentious and style engaged us all. The quality of her writing and eulogy was exceptional and beautiful, while being simple. I was incredibly impressed and have just given instructions to my husband that when my turn comes I want Jess to be my celebrant. I cant recommend her enough. Well done, in an exceptionally good job today!

I would wholeheartedly recommend Jess as a funeral celebrant. She was crucial in ensuring a fitting send off for my husband. Emotions were complex because of the difficult and untimely nature of his death. Jess took time to speak with and meet many of his close friends prior to the funeral. This really helped in enabling us to use the day to remember him and to celebrate his life. Her eulogy was so beautiful and poetic and really captured him. I felt that she had really understood and cared about him and about those who loved him. Thanks Jess x

Jess Mays memories of George Klein were both sensitive and at times quite humorous. She put everyone at ease. Which encouraged many friends to stand up and recall memories and anecdotes about George. Helping us all get to know George a little better. It was good to have laughter on such a sad occasion.
