Matt taught me for a while but I decided to change instructors after a bit. At first he was good a sorting the lessons out but then he started asking me if I could do times he knew I was unavailable for and so he wouldn't fit me in, sometimes for up to 3 weeks. Also, he was trying to have a nap once instead of teaching me, which is a true testament to his ethic as a driving instructor- Lazy and apathetic. Wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Having paid a block booking of 20 lessons for my son I was looking forward to helping him on the road... However constantly throughout the 20 lessons I had to keep prompting Matt for a lesson. He was given a lesson every Tuesday for 2 weeks, then none for the next 2-3 weeks. Then he would text & say I can only fit you in a week Wednesday. So inconsistent. He then claimed my son may have learning issues & when he did a practice test, he was told he FAILED, surely the correct way would have been to say," great, you did well on some areas, but we still have more work to do in certain areas". Positivity.. telling someone their a failure does not boost confidence.... The time gap became more & more irregular. So much so, the text my son sent him were not even replied to, when they were, he always had child care issues despite seeing him on the road with other pupils on numerous occasions.. It has now been 7 weeks since his last lesson. Luckily in this time we chose another instructor, who despite being in a new car & new instructor, he has come on leaps & bounds. Clearly no learning issues, just poor teaching skills. It is poor of a so-called professional company to use other peoples videos, photo & possibly testimonials. Then to knock someone's confidence & lie is not going to get good reviews. So disappointed with this person, I feel writing a review is the best way to prevent others wasting their money as once the block booking has gone, he takes your money & runs.
