Never ever give appointments! Like ever! Oh phone so and so day oh phone so and so time, what are you guys playing at? People are ill for god sakes we don't have time to play silly games. Call that time oh no appointment can you call this day. Like what are you guys playing at? Husband cannot even walk been in pain all night throwing up he told them he cannot even walk he needs an appointment oh it's not an emergency go to the pharmacy. Seriously so he receptions have a degree now to tell us that a man who cannot walk all of a sudden isn't an emergency and is perfectly fine? No. You put your patients and their health first if they feel they need to be seen and are in a lot of pain it is an emergency. Everytime not even this once for myself too for a whole week I tried getting an appointment call so and so time called no appointment call this day called no appointment call this day. Why are you even guys open? Do live off tax payers money and just do fraud to get wages? Honestly needs to be closed down. Isn't this weird now. My mother in law called them ten minutes after and somehow for her they have an appointment for tomorrow. My husband went to the walk in centre and guess what he has a blood clot it could effect his lungs as heart and if the pain not gone by tomorrow he needs to be operated told the walk in centre what the surgery said they definitely think i should takeit further as even a headache is classed as an emergency and if the patient thinks it is an emergency they should put the patient first not make them doubt to see a doctor whereas this case it was an emergency and if he hesitated to see a doctor because of the receptionist he could have ended up very unwell. Well done strensham road surgery it clearly wasn't an emergency was it? Rubbish receptionist going tomorrow to talk to the manager. Absolute disgrace receptions telling you what a medical emergency is and isnt? Go else where they say it's an emergency and he will likely be operated utterly disappointed. Planning on taking this matter further as I've complaint about myself and now with my husband and all they seem to do is cut off they're very rude.

It's a great surgery. The staff are friendly and supportive, the GPs are professional and take great care of their patients. The only disadvantage is that the surgery is often busy, so you might have to wait a while for your appointment.
