I cant praise this surgery and all its staff enough. The receptionists are all lovely and never condescending or rude (usually very typical of drs receptionists) the nurses are always helpful and never rush you or dismiss you and Dr Chopra is the first dr Ive had who actively listens to all my concerns and doesnt treat me like Im stupid or trying to self diagnose. Ive had certain issues for over 10 years and seen multiple different healthcare professionals and only now are they all finally being addressed and sorted out. The staff here all care about their patients and I cant recommend this surgery enough, I hope it never changes.

Before anything the doctors are great when you get seen. Being a new patient here, I havent found it the easiest Surgery to get through to or to even be seen! The phone wait times are ridiculous. You call at 9am when it opens and obviously cant call any sooner and wait over an hour on the phone only to be told appointments are all gone. This has happened numerous times and has been a waste of time. Phone lines should be shut ones full capacity has been reached. Even for a query you have to wait 30-40 mins minimum. Never known a GP whose phone lines are always this busy! Will need to find another GP. And to add their responses to reviews are shocking and not professional at all, I look forward to receiving a response!

This one star is not only for this surgery but for the approach of NHS rules toward patients. I tried to book an appointment yesterday for my daughter, but the surgery told me to call back today morning. Before the surgery opens I had a GP call through the phone by LV, the doctor said she needs to be seen and he said he will send an electronics assessment to the GP surgery. After a long waiting to be answered by the receptionist, she said they don't accept any assessment from any other GP rather than the surgery, she instantly said there is no electronic copy of the assessment (which I am sure she didn't even check) and she said you have to wait for a call first and if the Doctor decided, she can be seen. No wonder there is no appointment available because of this pathetic system. Just imagine how GPs time is wasted, 1 GP time was wasted because they only accept their own GP assessment, and another GP to decide if she needs to be seen. Doesn't it seem logical to the NHS system?? They waste not only their own time, also our time. I waited the whole day, didn't receive any call. Dear owner of Garrets green lane surgery google review, I was expecting this response from you because I have already seen how you reply to your patients. You just proved to people that the negative comments are all true. I haven't received any call today as you instructed me to wait for a call and instead of appologising that you failed your job to provide a f2f appointment for a 18 months old baby, you ask people to go to other surgeries.

Have always had a great experience with the surgery for my whole family and we are 7 of us registered there from doctor Dr chopra to nurses , midwife, physiotherapist ,receptionists . It is true that the calls in the morning are busier and sometimes you call at 9:05 am and your call hangs up but this is a technical problem that can happen when incoming calls are in high demand. For me This is not a motive to leave a bad review when they are always there to help and give you a same day appointment. I used to live in london and GP appointments are made next week for normal colds and flu symptoms so only in very urgent cases they take you same day , so I think people doesnt realise how grateful they should be as NHS is facing a tremendous pressure nowadays , just keep on top of news and have a bit more compassion for others first. Treat others with respect and how you treat others will be how they treat you . I am thankful for the whole surgery team
