I used to live in the countryside, my old Surgery there has switched to a 24 hours/7 days a week service - this place is still open only when everybody else is at work - what's the point of that?

The doctors are good but the service lately is rubbish never can speak or see a doctor and its not right. They need to sort there selfs out especially when they are ment to be there to help you. Today i tried again to get an appointment with a doctor nothing available again after being in a que for 19min on the phone, I dont understand why they aint back to normal yet, once the government realise they dont need to pay to have 6 to 8 doctors in a surgery as its all done by phone they will start sacking them and only keeping 2 to 3 doctors in each surgery then all them doctors that have no job will only have there selfs to blame because they should of started having more normal doctors appointments. Every where else are back to normal so the doctors should be too Nhs need to fix up

I love this doctors surgery. If I were to move house, local GP reviews would be a serious consideration for me now based on the negative feedback we hear all the time about others compared to this one. Its the best Ive ever been to. Always friendly, always able to get an appointment if needed through the ability to book on the day if you call at 8. They provide an over the phone consult and if they need to see you theyll get you in same day. Yes Im sure some people say they cant get appointments which would be correct if you call at midday and yes you do need to keep calling as the lines are busy at 8 but it only usually takes a few tries to get through as this happens everywhere. As long as you call first thing and persevere its always fine, Ive not had an issue in the 5 years Ive been with them, including throughout covid where we were able to video call when needed. Compared to other surgeries where you get told to wait weeks for an appointment, theyre a god send! Had my flu jab today, in and out in less than a minute as usual, very efficient. Thank you to all staff for the consistently good service.

Absolutely awful GP. You can never get through at 8am and when you do there's nothing left. Avoid at all costs. I've been here for a long time, it used to be the best GP it's not the worst.
