Went there for a PCR test today and the already unpleasant situation was only made worse by the rude staff. Was asked if it was the first PCR test I'd ever done, which I said it was and the guy offered little help before then walking away and leaving entirely despite there being a plethora of staff around. I was struggling to read the instructions on the wall because usually I wear contact lenses but this time wore glasses and I wanted to remove my face mask as little as possible. Then when a second member of staff then returned they stood behind me, socially distanced and proceeded to bark orders at me that were unclear and felt entirely impatient making me feel as though I was just wasting their time despite it being obvious I was having problems with the instructions because I was constantly cleaning my glasses and also very clearly squinting. Plus I mentioned that I was blind to the woman and that still got no reaction, instead she just continued to gesture harshly and be short with me. Then, when finally I understood what that meant I had to seal my test up and carry it out to a huge plastic bin already full to the brim with tests which just the sight of it filled me with little confidence of my result actually being a) anytime soon and b) accurate. The entire experience isn't pleasant anyway and I can sympathise that the people there are having to deal with potentially hundreds of positive people a day but the attitude, the rudeness and the way orders were just barked in my direction that made me feel as though I was wasting their time just made the entire experience ten times worse and if I ever have to do another PCR test I certainly won't be using this venue.
