Once was a very good dentist. My daughter has had braces for almost 4 years now. She had her braces before covid 19. Up till then her treatment was fantastic . Then she wasn't seen for 6 months. After that the orthodontic has changed many times . Which meant a new plan everytime the orthodontic changed. Now they have a new orthodontic who only comes in for very little time in a month. Probably around a couple of times in the month. She is has an appointment every 3 months now instead of every 6 months if it is not cancelled. Recently she has been in a lot of pain due to her braces . She has been taking ibuprofen for the last four days but cannot be seen until her next appointment which is in a weeks time cause there is no orthodontic at the dentist. Staff said there is nothing they can do . She has to wait for her next appointment.

  • The patients and receptionist last longer than half the actual dentists which speaks for itself. Receptionists are always sat there yet cant answer the phone to anyone, if they do thats a miracle. They do not value customers or even show any sort of respect. Wasted 5 years waiting for a referral. They never bothered telling me I was taken off on the 2nd year of waiting. Now I have no choice but to pay for treatment when I am still a teen with no job yet. Just save yourself and dont even bother looking at their practice.

Dentist messed me about, left the practice when he was going to refer me to the dental hospital, and did not pass on the notes. I had an appointment today and left work early only to find it closed.

Below standard of quality of care and customer service. I booked in for an annual dental check up which is Band A cost. I had to wait over 15 minutes before I was seen to and was provided with a 5 minutes verbal advice for oral exercise to improve TMJ. The male dentist advised to book a follow up appointment after a month and make the payment but won't need to pay again when they complete band A treatment ( I.e.standard xray, examination, etc). When I arrived for my follow up appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early in case I needed to complete any paperwork but was advised by receptionist it was not required and to take a seat until I'm seen. After waiting 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment (35 minutes of waiting time in total), I spoke to the receptionist of the long waiting time and was requested to make another payment which I refused and stated to refer to their notes on system and speak to the dentist who saw to me which was not followed up. When I saw the female dentist she said her colleague gave misinformation but on this occasion she will honour the scale and polish without additional payment. Having referred to NHS pay band guidelines it appears the staff at the dental practice need to be upskilled on their knowledge as it's misadvice and full service of Band A should've been provided within 2 months. The service was appalling with long wait and inept staff. Thid is a shame as it was great practice pre-Covid pandemic with experienced and knowledgeable staff.
