The owner of this off license refused to let my child and sister shelter during the rain. She was inexcusably rude and asked my sister to go out into the heavy rain due to the two people in the shop rule, although there were no other customers at the time. Despite appealing to her better nature and pointing out that there were no other people in the shop and a purchase being made, she still insisted that a woman and child should go out into the rain. A complaint has been made to the local councillor, local businesses should be supportive of their patrons during their time of need, not insist that they leave an empty premises in which there were no other customers and social distancing was observed.
