A person should be treated right. Making inappropriate comments and nasty snide remarks is not ok neither is the aggressive angry demeanour of the man in the black T-shirt! The Pakistani/ Muslim community have a lot to answer for their behaviour. Harassment and Ill treatment of a family is not accepted.

Open 24 hrs good prices for high street great bunch of local gents running the place the butcher is awesome. (Update Jan 2021. The butcher sadly passed away. Another victim of the pandemic. Rest in peace)

Fantastic shop for all my grocery needs, especially for the more unique products that supermarkets do not stock. They sell a wide range of fresh Caribbean and Southern Asian groceries, everything from yam, plantain, pumpkin, sweet potato, okra, fresh thyme, hardo bread, fresh coriander, fresh chillies, (scotch bonnet and birds eye) and then there's a whole range of spice mixes, ground/whole spices, seeds and jarred pastes, tinned beans and peas. If they don't have what you need, which is rare, they will usually get it in for next time. I can also buy electricity, gas and phone top ups here and they sell all the usual items that convenience stores stock. I tend to park in Asda to do some of my shopping and then cross the road to get everything else I need, it's so convenient especially on such a busy high street. Prices are good too (some places will charge a lot more for those products because they know it's a struggle to get them in that area, but this place is fair). It opens till late too. So, overall I would highly recommend this shop
