Very pleased with the standard of work carried out at a very reasonable price, done in a timely manner. I will always use this firm to repair or replace my flat roof , guttering and for any other roofing problems. They are honest, friendly and professional. Jude a very pleased customer from Marston Green

If I could give 0 stars I would. When the work was initially carried out we were happy however 6 months down the line we noticed the garage roof had started leaking-again, and same was to be said about the main roof that he had also "repaired". We called him under the terms of the "guarantee" for them to repair the dodgy job but a further 6 months down the line and we're still waiting! Just had a professional company look at the work done to quote for its repair and they were appalled! The felt just lifted up in huge sheets! They said that it was one of the worst jobs they'd seen with inappropriate techniques and materials being used. It will now cost us thousands to fix and carry out repairs on the further damage done to the garage structure as well as to completely replace the felt again. I would never in a million years reccommended this company to anyone. This is the reason why small local traders are failing - because of money fleecing rogues like this! Avoid at all costs!

I would advise anyone who thinks of employing this individual for any purpose after reading this review needs to think again and then look elsewhere for a proper contractor. Chas. Ellis, which is the name of this contractor, is the most useless, arrogant, unreliable, cheat I have ever met in 40+ years of experience in the property maintenance trade! He contracted to replace a felt roof on a friends garage and I was asked to advise and to oversee the job. Ellis did not follow instructions regarding the need for a gradient on the roof. In fact, when he had finished the roof sloped from two directions towards the centre so that instead of draining, the water accumulated in the centre of the roof, forming a "pond" 20mm deep. He did not use the timber cladding as specified. He disappeared from site for more than a week leaving the front fascia board missing allowing rain to pour into the garage. It became necessary for the occupant of the property to cover the contents of the garage with polythene and to collect the leaking water in buckets. He did not remove the old felt, so his new felt did not adhere to the roof. He repeatedly failed to keep appointments, did not return to carry out remedial work. It became necessary to employ another contractor to remove Ellis's cladding and then to start again. Ellis took 1000 of my 80+ year old friends money and has refused to return it. Ellis claims to be a member of a Trade Association, which he is not!
