        I recently visited Damascena and overall, it was an okay experience for me. While I'm not a fan of this type of cuisine, I decided to give it a try since my partner wanted to go. The food itself wasn't bad, but it just wasn't to my personal taste. However, I can comment on the service, which was just okay. The restaurant was very busy and it was difficult to track down a waiter when we needed something. Our server was a bit blunt at times and we had to wait for the bill for about 20 minutes, which was frustrating as we had somewhere else to be. Overall, if you enjoy this type of food and don't mind a bit of a wait, then Damascena might be worth checking out. But for me, it wasn't my favorite dining experience.
