I have been a long time member of this church which I started to attend when my own children were young. When my grandchildren visit they now ask to accompany me on a Sunday and I can commend by our reputation as a friendly and welcoming worship environment which has held true for many years. As well as providing varied and increasing activities for children, we are pleased to include among our regular congregation friends from the residential care bungalows for adults with learning disabilities. We also host a range of social and fundraising events, in addition to our weekly Sunday worship. If you are wondering looking for a church I would definitely recommend trying Hazelwell. Worship is varied and accessible- ticks all the boxes!

Been a member of this church since the 70s. Liked it because people were so friendly. It still is very welcoming, for families, individuals, younger and older. We have regular attendance of local residents who come with their carers. We have an experienced organist and have younger organists who are further developing their skills. We are lucky because we are a united church with members who were Methodist and who were from the Church of England and our services reflect both traditions, sometimes led by Methodist ministers and sometimes by the Vicar. We have a family service during term time which involves the Uniformed organisations who come for their parade on the first Sunday of the month. We work closely with the Hub. Why not 5? We need more young people and families to join us so that we can grow spiritually together. There are leaders at the ready to do activities with children and young people if you want to come along. I did when I had a young family and my wife and I are still here!! Join us - you will be most welcome!!
