Chop & Wok Stechford

Ordered Malaysian spice medium noodles to pick up, The Malaysian spice noodles were absolutely ghastly. Tasted nothing like it use to taste. This one had no salt and had this awful after taste. The noodles looked and tasted like dish water. The spring rolls were drenched in oil and so were the prawn crackers. Food made with absolutely no care whatsoever. The shop itself looks like an abandoned warehouse. Cold and dingy. Won't be going here ever again. Absolutely disgraceful!!

If only I had read the reviews before we had placed an order! Mixed platter came with half the contect(no shrimp toast, chicken satay and sweet chilli dip) mentioned on just eat, called them and they claimed they don't do it. Got a meal for 2... Beef and black bean sauce with medium noodles was dry and tasteless. Roast Duck with schezuan saune and thin rice vermicelli noodles which was very disappointing, only 4 pieces of duck and tasted horrible. Positives... Crispy chicken wings, potato wedges and bottle of pop. Although boxes are small, they do hold alot. Most of the food went in the bin. Very dissatisfied!!!

Still waiting on my food (which is only 3 items by the way) 50 minutes after it was supposed to get here and the restaurant don't want to pick up the phone. We've called 10 times. Shocking service. I just received a call from a mobile number (not the restaurant number) while writing this to say that the driver is on the way but the restaurant is too far and I need to pay the driver an extra 3 pounds when he gets here. It's not a lot of money but it's the principle! It doesn't state anything of the kind on the website nor did it present as a problem at checkout. I already paid 2.50 for delivery too. He quickly waived the extra charge when I started kicking off but cut off the phone to shut up my complaint and request for compensation. What cheek! No doubt my food will arrive bearing icicles now. Not happy and will not be ordering from this branch again.

Normally use the chop and wok in hall green which we as a family love the food. Tonight used the stechford branch as its more local to us. We had a bad meal from here appox a year ago and was hoping it would have improved by now. It hasn't!! Child's meal we always have from the other chop and wok is normally mild chicken noodles as its a kids meal well my sons one from the stechford branch was spicy and unbearable to eat! I'm sure they don't change the cooking equipment when using different sauces etc Second meal was also no ediable and not enjoyable. Will never return to this branch again!

Ordered from here the other day for my little girl. Charged me more than advertised! My order should have been 8.75 and they charged me 11.50 absolute robbery!!! Charged me 2.50 for prawn crakers and i only recieved 6????? When I went back stating that the menu shows otherwise they replied with "our prices are different" say what??? Who's ours? And who owns the shop because it's on your menu!!!!! There was hardly any chicken, mostly noodles. Box was tiny. Nothing like other chop n woks!! Absolutely appalling.
