Met family and friends who had travelled from Swindon, Alvechurch and Shirley for an 85th birthday celebration. There was hardly any choices available on the starters, nothing available from the yorkies, wraps and sandwich menu. And limited choice from the non carvery menu. It felt like we were being manipulated to have the carvery. Our server Elizabeth carried out her duties very well, snd really tried to accommodate us. but it was obvious she was run off her feet. No recommendations forthcoming from our party.
