        My family bought this gorgeous cake/gateaux for me on my 70th birthday this weekend. To say it was beautiful and delicious doesn't do it justice. Sadly we ate the last slice today. Thoroughly recommend this shop.

        Modern day pirates. Expect daylight robbery if you are getting a birthday cake here. Cake colourings are spray painted on, leaving your tongue coloured which requires scraping and a jet wash with strong chemicals to get it off. Cake was incredibly dry. Even supermarket cakes are better than these pathetic cakes.

        Extremely disappointed, brought several slices of cake today after asking staff if they were all fresh. Assured that they were freshly made. When we tried the cakes it was clear they must have been sat in display cabinet for days! Fresh cream crumbled it was so dry! The cake itself resembled a stale biscuit. Avoid at all costs!!

        Cakes have got smaller and 30% increase. At least on the individual cakes. Just not worth the money anymore.8 for 2 small individual cakes? Most people just can't afford that these days.
