We are so happy with the work T A Smith has completed on our property in Bournville. We have had a load bearing wall knocked down, redesigned kitchen/diner, kitchen fitted including electrics, new radiators, new floors laid, new windows/patio doors, internal doors moved, a downstairs toilet fitted under the stairs, and more! They worked quickly and tidily, there were no hidden costs, and the standard of work upon completion is outstanding. The attention to detail was so impressive. Not only this, but all workmen we dealt with were friendly, polite and approachable. They were also very accommodating - allowing us to add on extra jobs while they were here and adjusting the timeline so that we could get a kitchen with a slightly longer lead in time than planned. Honestly could not be happier and would recommend to anyone

Paul and his team completed a kitchen extension (including installation of rsj) and bathroom renovation of my Victorian terrace. I'm delighted with the result and high standard of finish. They were fantastic on every level - delivered as promised (on time and budget) with workmen on site every day and approved by building inspectors without issue. Nothing was too much trouble. Particular shout out to Mark and Russel whose excellent workmanship and kindness was particularly appreciated.

The team at T.A Smith refurbished my rental property bathroom from scratch, & installed several radiators. Competitively priced, but the quality of furniture & fittings provided is high, as is the workmanship. Paul, the boss is a lovely helpful chap. Very pleased I chose them and would recommend to anyone :)

Completely let me down. First provided a quote back in January 2022.I accepted the quote and waited for a start date. From then on, excuse after excuse for start date and kept on promising ...gave up in April. Just rude and didn't have the decency to follow up and keep me updated. I just ended up chasing them up all the time.

Paul and his team completed a single storey rear extension and some other work for us. It was the first major building project we had undertaken and we were nervous from hearing horror stories of projects taking twice as long as estimated, builders disappearing mid job etc. Im pleased to say there was none of those concerns with Paul: - they completed the work in 16.5 weeks, having estimated it would take 12-16 (but there was some extra work done compared to the original plan) - they were fair on pricing, advising us of a sensible contingency budget to keep for things that may go wrong (which couldnt be known until the project started) and being fair when additional work was needed - they reliably turned up on time! - without exception, all of the team were pleasant, friendly and helpful people who you didnt mind having around - when theyre in your living space for weeks on end, thats important! They also cleaned up after themselves - the work was all signed off by building control without any issues whatsoever - even once the work had all been completed (and fully paid), they helped resolve an issue with a drain (which turned out not to be their fault at all) and Paul even came over at 4am in the morning to resolve an issue with a smoke alarm!! Most importantly, we felt that they cared and wanted to do a good job for us. As a result, were delighted with the end result.
