UpdateFollowing my initial review, I have since been in receipt of all the required documentation and apology received with thanks for the delay. I would like to reiterate, the one star review was for the administration side of things and not the product or service received on the day, which was impeccable by both John and Alex. They were efficient , tidy, respectful and polite all the time that they were here, and with regards to the shutters themselves, I could not be happier. They have exceeded any expectations that I had at the time of purchase, and I would gladly recommend them from this perspective. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *I had Plantation shutters fitted to the front of my house about a month ago, not cheap either. Having waited 15 weeks for them, which I was aware of, I contacted the branch to see if they had an installation date as yet. I was informed that this was booked in for a particular date. Nobody had contacted me to check this date was suitable. Upon completion, I was asked if I wanted the 3 year guarantee in writing to which I said I would. I was also told that my receipt for the balance would be forwarded to me alongside the guarantee within a couple of days. One phone call, and two emails later, and I am still waiting. No contact whatsoever, yet, prior to the fitting and completion, they seemed only to happy to help. Aftercare and customer service is very poor indeed, and not what I would expect for what was after all, a considered purchase. I shall have to physically go the branch and stamp my feet a bit I think, as this is not an acceptable way to treat a customer.

This local company fitted our blinds but damaged a section of the frame and yet have not returned to replace that section of the frame I wouldnt recommend this company at all very poor customer service I have had to replace trim myself its been over 6 months now they know the issue as we have pointed it out the only way to resolve this now is Trading standards which I will be asking them to get this matter sorted out. They are quick enough to come out and price the job up but when issues arise well they cant be bothered to sort it out.

Worst customer service I've ever received. I've purchased blinds for most rooms in my home from Reynolds over the past couple of years. We've had issues with three blinds where the pelmets keep falling off, this was reported and more small squares of Velcro added which didn't help at all. To fix that we purchased stronger Velcro from elsewhere and no further issues but this was at a cost of 150 to us. Small but noticeable issue with one blind where a slat bows upwards. This has been reported over and over with four people coming out to look at it, pictures taken and multiple promises of replacement slats being ordered so it could be fixed. Still nothing done. Staff don't return calls when they say they will. Have asked for an appointment with the branch manager which didn't happen. Have been told the branch manager will call, nothing happens. Avoid at all costs if you value customer service.

Catalogue of errors: 1. Salesperson came without metal blind samples when we had made our preferences clear well in advance. 2. We had to wait approximately one month before the installation date. The installer came without the required fixtures to complete the job, complained about the cost of drill bits he had to use and tried to persuade me to sign a document to state the job was completed. He stated he would be back at the end of the same week to complete the job, when it was pointed out that the job was incomplete. 3. The installer then lied to his manager and stated that he hadnt given the completion date. 4. Manager advised me there is nothing they can do to complete the job until additional fixtures arrive, even though they knew about the requirements and measured up approximately five weeks ago.
