5/5 based on Cuban cocktails, the barman & the vibe (didn't try the food). The rum-based cocktails were awesome. It was fairly quiet when we poped in, so we had a choice of seats. It became very busy & quite loud later, hence we decided to escape.

Has great rum cocktails and a good selection of sharing platters and small bites although it is a bit pricey. Main downside is that its often pretty busy so it can be hard to find a table or space to stand.

If youve been out in Moseley, its highly likely youve been to the iconic Cuban Embassy (Bulls Head). It is the oldest pub in the village dating back to the 1700s. Now its a little slice of Havana serving up rum based cocktails and live cuban music each weekend We went on Saturday afternoon for bottomless brunch (2hrs). Choose bottomless Prosecco or Cuba Libres, two small plates and a side for 35 per person. We ordered: Iberian Burger Cod and Pepper Croquettes Spanish Chorizo Garlic Chicken Thighs Sweet Potato Fries Garlic Flatbread with cheese The food is provided by Santis Kitchen and we loved every bite The garlic chicken thighs were sensational. We were mopping up every last ounce of the sauce with the garlic flatbread; we nearly wore a hole into the plate The cod and pepper croquettes were generously filled with fish, rather than filled out with potato. They were delicately seasoned so the fish could shine and we wanted a bucket full. The burger looked pretty basic, but then we took a bitethe Manchego was nutty and slightly sweet, perfectly complimenting the salty Serrano ham. It tasted homemade and authentic. It was quiet during our visit, so even though I hate the phrase because people are saying it about everything, Im going to say itthe venue might be well known, but the brunch is a hidden gem It was fantastic for us too as Cuba Libres are a much more appealing option than sugary cocktails. They were also super accommodating and let my mum have vodka instead of rum its the little touches. We were having such a lovely time we stayed for a few extra hours and enjoyed some banana daiquiris
