Great ambience, good service and awesome steaks! The 8oz Ribeye was to die for! Absolutely perfectly cooked and tender. Will definitely go back for more

Perfectly nice place and a reasonable price for a decent steak. Here's the problem though... There's nothing to choose Bar + Block over the Miller & Carters scattered across Birmingham and the rest of the country. M&C seem to have a wider selection of steak, sides, accompaniments, drinks. Ordered my steak medium rare which is unusual for me but I felt like eating slightly more rendered fat that day rather than going rare. It came through as rare, possibly bordering on blue. I choose to eat it but I'm sure the team would have sorted it if I'd asked.
