I had the pleasure of using Ultimate Recon for a specialist job, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional, and the job was completed efficiently within the given time frame. My Range Rover required an electric steering rack replacement, and after being recommended Ultimate Recon, I called to discuss the job. Director and engineer, Mark, was extremely accommodating and informative from the very first call. He provided me with a detailed explanation of the job and even quoted me a fair price of 150, which was significantly less than other companies who quoted me between 380-480. Not only was the quote highly competitive, but I was also impressed to learn that Ultimate Recon has over 30 years of experience in the industry. This level of expertise was evident in the professional finish of the job, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Mark & Graham great bunch off lads and had my car repaired within the given time frame.. I had my Mercedes booked in for a knocking sound coming from the steering, these guys diagnosed the problem and replaced the shaft. Good prices too saved me . Highely recommended , will definately return again in the near future.. keep up the good work guys

Took my merc to Ultimate Recon as my steering rack had a leak, Mercedes quoted 4K for a new rack (car is not even worth that), Googled around and found this garage. Very friendly staff spoke on the phone confirmed date and the car was completed one day early! All repairs done to high standard and car is working back to normal. Highly recommend, staff are very helpful as well! 5 star

BMW X5 Was recommended that they can sort steering rack, checked by turning steering said needs re bushing can be done for 240, ( bush costs 35) sounded like it was a big job by taken steering rack out, bush can be repalced in 20 mins, then was told needs a steering rack bought 2nd hand rack had it fitted, SAME ISSUE was told that rack is faulty, so after spending 485 still not resolved, had it checked else were turns out it was a upper steering arm, they havent got a clue & could find out problem, when called up to tell them they were lost for words.. AVOID AT ALL COST .........
