Shocking experience, yesterday I tried to buy parts retail over the phone. Took my order and told..." I`m busy at the moment, got some other jobs to do first but when I`ve finished them I`ll go and check if we have them in stock...give me your number I`ll get back to you asap"....no call back....I phoned back again hours later..spoke to the same person...told me they called back..just rang out...I checked my phone..no missed calls...never left my side...anyway.. the dicussion "We`ve got this, dont have that, carn`t find that"....ok I said...let me go away and have a think..I`ll phone you back tomorrow. Called today spoke to the same person..." its me again...martin....we spoke twice yesterday about the parts I`m after....aaaah yes they said....what parts are they.....you know ..."the parts".....so I went through it all again ordering the bits they told me they had the day before, with the part numbers I`d got off their website and knew they had......guess what....groundhog day.....They said..." I`m quite busy at the moment, got some other jobs to do first but when I`ve finished them, I`ll get back to you asap...whats your number....no call back...2hrs later I called back...spoke to the same person...was told they called back..just rang out...I checked my phone..no missed calls...aaaaah.. so I said "look can I order these parts now" yes of course, what parts are you after...aaaaah....what!!...you can imagine my answer..no sales desk, no product knowledge, no clue, this person acknowledged they were not set up for retail sales...what a shame...what happened to the good old fashioned customer service recieved when it was just Leacy`s.
