The elusive 5th star was there to be had. What robbed you of that was the failure to send me an email telling me that the delivery would be delayed, after I had already waited 4 weeks for my piece, Apart from that small minus, everyone and everything was super!! To quote Arnie ,"I'll be back"! 8-)>>

I bought four pieces of artwork from Castle Fine Art in August 2021 through Kaan Cardakli. It was a significant purchase totalling thousands of pounds and not one I entered into lightly. Unfortunately it has been a very unhappy experience. The delivery was delayed beyond every estimate they gave me. When they did finally arrive (staggered, as the delays continued), the frames were damaged and the artwork within had slipped so you could only see half of it. The quality of the frames themselves was very poor, with mitred corners very roughly cut and not a single one of them was flush, with clear gaps showing. The Bob Dylan piece I bought had a rip in the artwork, which was never mentioned and sent out despite it being clear enough that it would clearly have been seen before being sent out. I spoke with Emma Blackburn who helped to rectify these issues and eventually they were fixed, swapped or replaced as necessary but I remained very unhappy and not wanting to keep any of the pieces I had purchased. Emma offered a copy of a Bob Dylan coffee table book as a gesture of goodwill, which I initially accepted, but despite it being a year and a half later and despite me also discussing this with 'client manager' Charlotte Matthews in November 2022, I continue to await its delivery. Recently it was revealed in the news that Bob Dylan's signed prints had actually been signed by an autopen producing replicas of Bob Dylan's signature following him developing vertigo in 2019. This somewhat renders it rather pointless having a signed copy of his prints and lowers the value considerably. I contacted Castle Fine Art to question this and was sent a carefully worded response and directing me further to statements from Castle Fine Art regarding this, with no real reassurance or rectification of the damage this has done to the value of the artwork, the confidence (or indeed lack thereof) I have in the genuineness of the signature on the print I have, and the continued complete lack of trust and faith in Castle Fine Art as a company. The customer service continues to be nothing but lip service, and I have been left with four pieces of art I have no desire to own and have never been hung on my walls. They have each been tarnished with the awful experience I have had with Castle Fine Art and I continue to want a full refund of each of the pieces, as well as the copy of the book that I was promised so long ago. It's a shame, as had they refunded these and provided good customer service they would likely have made a lot more money in the long run. I have since bought many pieces of art for our collection through other galleries and could not have had a more different experience with every one of them. Do not touch this gallery with a barge pole.

Having been to a couple of Castle galleries, I am aware how good they are. After a day out with the wife to be and her son we finished of at the mailbox gallery , my intention 2 paintings a Bob barker and another om glass , but that soon went out the window. The son , it was his first experience in a gallery buying and the staff which seams the wrong word were stunning , I'm not good with names but rebecca was totally amazing , the lady behind the desk was fab and the manager, like the others infomative, the son walked round and helped me choose a couple of bits and once home he messaged to say he enjoyed the day and art experience and he may go back for a peaky blinders art piece. I spent more than I planned but they ( the gallery ppl ) kind of wound me in and dangled imaginary carrots which was art. You could spend a great deal more as well as they stan with ypu and talk about what you are looking at. My home us a testament to beautiful people at these places and unique and impressive bits of art. Thankyou
