Telephone operators are rude and unprofessional, I dont think its appropriate as a business that when a trade partner is trying to place an order that theyre spoken to in an aggressive manner, with poor understanding of civility and common phone etiquette. As a business whos entire model is reliant on keeping good work relationships with their trade partners refusing to take a order seems counter intuitive, when speaking to another representative of the business amongst his unintelligible responses the one that most sums up their attitude would be; Im friends with the owner of your business so Im doing you a favour You are not doing anyone a favour by doing your job, you can be friends with the Queen herself and I couldnt care less. I always believe in maintaining a good relationship with all my suppliers but as I refuse to work with anyone who disrespects my staff, myself or my Venue. I will be looking for a new supplier.
