Staff abusive towards customers on the phone. Politely asked if could bring mobility scooter and when tried to explain how small it was when folded only to be shouted at and hung up on. No customer based business should ever shout at customers. Refused to take a complaint when first rung back, had to get somebody else to ring for it to be taken. Excuse given by the horrible woman was she was stressed. Would suggest this woman find another job if this one makes her so stressed she shouts at disabled customers with learning and mobility difficulties

I use handy cars all the time for work and they're great and the driver's are lovely. However. I've noticed a certain person who takes the calls of a night into the early morning seems to act like you have woke him up, then instead of even looking or saying it might be a wait etc, he straight away just says I've got nothing at all sorry. I feel like it's not fair on the drivers wanting work and also people who need to get to work.

First and last time using them. Called to take my elderly mother back to Liverpool, they ummed an ahhed about having a driver that would actually go to Liverpool. Once they'd finay decided that they had a driver willing to drive through a tunnel they gave me a call back, but no driver outside when I went out. So we waited.. another call back, so we started making our way outside (again) and between seeing the intrepid driver willing to cross the great divide outside, and getting outside, he'd vanished! We called back and sure enough "he's just been, he marked it as a no job" So, Delta to the rescue. A callback from the driver when outside, polite, courteous etc. It's a shame as I try and use local businesses, but when they can't even get basic service right then you have to use a proper company. Long and short, give these a swerve.
