I took my child to a private club held here in the school holidays when it was empty and drove through the open gates into the car park merely to drop him off, which looked to be the only and obvious place to do so. I was then shouted at and pointed at by a member of staff for parking in the deserted car park as (apparently) the head teacher didn't want any parents parking there as they had had their car scratched previously (which could happen anywhere). I therefore will not be using this expensive club as parents are expected to park on the busy, main road (if they can find space between the double yellow lines etc).
