Anchor - Birkenhead Court care home

Having experienced several care facilities on The Wirral for my Mum, such independent living, extra care housing and other care homes, this one has been hands down the best for dementia patients. My Mum now lives here and is in the end stages of Alzheimer's and I cannot fault the carers and management. Every one is well trained and up to speed on dementia and Mum has been treated with the respect and dignity she deserves.

Mum went to hospital . Doctor said she could go home took six weeks to come out .I phoned them everyday also doc and nurse phoned them.took six weeks to come out to say they didn't want her back .in the mean time she lost use of her legs .cause hospital to busy to walk her .I there over a year gave red hot drinks .food poor .never cut up no games as they say they had .sat sleeping or watching Tele or each other .broke half of her belongings .my late dad got her .

its a very good home for people to live in good friendly caring team of staff
