Lovely, traditional and welcoming old pub. Close to Storeton Woods and easy to find Good food, good selection of beers and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcomed and there's a free water dispenser and bowls for the dogs, and a dog treat box. It's recommended to book a table as it's a popular place.

Go there when walking my dog staff lovely and always make me the my 2 boys and dog very welcome one of my boys tried the pizza out thought it was a bit expensive until we tried it best pizza I've had worth every penny my other boy had the double burger which was also very very tasty only one gripe understand it's more of a traditional ale pub but would like to see another premium lager on draft a nice German or Czech beer that said looking forward to next visit might just have to start drinking ale

Love this pub! One of the few real pubs left in the area. Very cosy, great for a chat, good range of beers!
