    After being a customer for many years and no longer getting value for money we called up and asked for our subscription not to be autorenewed. They said we had been taken off the autorenewal but would contact us nearer our end date again to see our final decision. Dissapointing to say they have done none of the above and now have autorenewed us and taken our money on DD. Avoid at all costs, underhand tactics and the data they supply is very poor.

    As per all other reviews, Barbour ABI is a total scam. They charge thousands of pounds for incorrect and irrelevant data with no use, then auto renew you after a year with NO WARNING and say that there is no way to cancel the contract. Thousands of pounds wasted on a fraudulent company. Horrific. We are having to get lawyers involved. Spread the word of this terrible, terrible business.

    This company is a disgrace absolute crooks. Barbour ABI use an auto renewal to fraudulently trap customers into another year of subscription. They will not notify you but rather inform you that renewal has taken place. Their response when I tried to cancel was I had to wait 12 months as missed the auto renewal by 30 days. Their scam needs to be stopped not fair on SME's who are struggling in this climate

    I have been a customer of Barbour for over 7 Years in total we have spent upwards of 24k. Our renewal date was in May. I called last year in March to discuss about our subscription but no one returned my calls. I then called 2 weeks after our automatic renewal date (which didn't know about) and they refuse to accept my call in march as me giving them notice and they have kept the subscription for the remainder of the year. In September they have changed the system and told me I will have to get my guys who have been using the system for 6 years (who are very computer literate) to retrain on the new system. The system was good initially but over the years it is far too complicated for its own good, unless you want to employ people just to browse on a software program and do nothing else, I would steer well clear and find a simpler system there are many out there.
