It is a wonderful, very community minded school that provides a lot of before and after school activities for the children, and at lunch times. They participate in lots of community activities and events too. I would recommend this school to anyone who believes in community spirit :)

I have worked in the capacity as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with my company Thumbs Up over the course of the last few years. Each time I have worked in there, I have been incredibly impressed with the resilience and determination of the wonderful children that attend Grove Street. New Ferry hasnt had an easy time over the last year or so, and to see the enthusiasm and the smiles on the children is - on occasions, overwhelming. So who is responsible for this? Of course the fantastic teachers who instil a level of respect, kindness and humour that is quite obviously having a huge impact on the children. The headteacher too is very obviously so enthusiastic about the school, and it is a pleasure to work with her, the teachers and this wonderful school, cant wait for next year to work with a new school year.
