Ellesmere Port Post Office

I visited ellesmere port post office today..(5.15pm)... the queue was the biggest I have ever seen in there and I go about once a week as I sell items on eBay so use post office to send . A couple of months ago they changed opening times they now close at 6pm ..instead of 8pm.. as I go after work this alone is inconvenient but like everyone else I just except it ! Today however was very poor service there are 10 counter postions and only 2 people serving..Why?..it's the run up to Christmas surely it's A lot busier.. because the Q was so big they got security to stop people from joining at 5.40pm.. Post office sort this out ! Not acceptable!!

The post office closes at 6:30pm, supposedly. I got in line at 5pm and was very rudely told by the lady behind the window that they were closed. So much for getting some important forms.

Today I was sending a parcel. It was an item that a person on Vinted bought from me. On vinted there is a rule that you buy a 2nd class large letter for 1.99 if you send royal mail. The lady in the window did not want to accept my parcel, she was very uncultured and not nice. I told her 5 times that I always send in this Post Office and always pack the things in the same envelope, with the required dimensions and weight. Everything was packed to size for a Large Letter for 1.99. I don't understand how problematic it was to accept my package. I went straight to another Post Office and the person accepted my parcel without any problems, because everyone always accepts parcels packed in such a way. Only in Asda, one employee today had a problem with accepting the package If someone does not like their job, maybe they should change it or not support people!
