        Birkenhead park play ground starting to look and feel tired now, only a couple of swings for little tots (1-16 month's) and 1 little slide. There is a climbing frame not very big a roundabout seasaw and a larger teepee spider rope climbing frame for the older kids, there is 1 disabled friendly sewing missing the safety harness but nothing else for disabled children to play on. It could do with updating to accommodate all ages and ability children which would attract more people to the park in general, it could be made bigger considering the size of the grounds just beyond the railings. Would like to see better safety gates on the play area for the parents piece of mind if they have more than one child at different ages the two gates are easily opened by a 3 year old.
