Carrie was extremely unhelpful when our wedding was cancelled due to covid. Unlike our other suppliers who showed empathy and worked with us, she refused to co operate and withdrew her offer of moving us to another date because I'd requested a refund due to sufficient cancellation notice and no services being delivered. This added enormous stress and upset to us as not only had our wedding been cancelled, the grooms mother had also just sadly passed away amongst it all and we simply didn't have the strength to battle it out with everything going on. Now that weddings are getting back up and running I just thought I'd share my experience with other brides to save any stress if anything goes wrong for them! I feel for suppliers this past year, however I do think how they handled the situation shows a massive part of their professionalism when in a crisis.

We had a fantastic experience with Spear photography. We loved the pictures that Carrie took and really appreciated the way she got the pictures whilst our wedding day continued without feeling like the photographs slowed it down or got in the way. She was professional throughout and a joy to deal with before, during and after the wedding.

We used Carrie to photograph our wedding in Aug 2021, best decision we ever made! We initially had a video call to discuss our options and despite not being able to meet in person before the big day (due to Covid) it went brilliantly. On the day she was calm and professional, and in a tense and nervous time whilst getting ready, she made me as a bride feel a lot more relaxed before going down the aisle. Our wedding photography was captured upto until our sit down meal, and at every point through the four hours, she was there where she needed to be, organising all our guests and getting the best out of it all. Our collection of photographs afterwards were amazing, the quality brilliant. She managed to capture so much love and personality of us and our guests. Thankyou so much.
