(Now Tehey lane Pharmacy) These guys are professional and welcoming. As a retired nurse I have experienced some pretty poor dispensaries in my career and this is not one of them. I'm new to them the same as I am to the local surgery but the staff are great. It was my first script after changing pharmacies (I loved my old pharmacy but had to move) a lovely lady Called G welcomed me and said it would be no problem evn if I needed my scripts delivered despite only living up the road but due to having a anorexia and spine problems it's was no problem. I came in a few days later to get my script and as it was my first collection a lovely gentlemen took me in the consultation room to check if was happy with my meds and to give me privacy as it was a Friday just before closing and all of a sudden the shop was full) I just ask people to remember that whether you get free scripts of pay yourself that the staff work so hard and on the days when the sun is shining and many of us are enjoying it that these guys are dedicated to sorting our meds so that we can feel better come rain or shine! I'll be back to collect my ensures guys but I just wanted to say your all professional and on top of that you treat people with dignity and respect . It's a shame that customers can't do the same and be kind and polite and remember that although you are individual the staff can't remember every customer that ever comes in although they probably know most of their customers there are hundreds of us in a square mile so walking in and just shouting "prescription" doesnt mean they will know who you are, what the script is for etc aftr all you wouldn't go to the post office with a blank enevelope and shout post this first class would you? Come rain or shine the nhs, chemists, dentists, hospitals, supermarket and petrom station staff are always there and perhaps we dont give them the respect they deserve. We've all had a rough time and key workers aren't just health based, they are shop workers, window cleaners, refuse collectors and litter pickers, council workers, bus, taxi, train drivers, librarians, postal workers and the list goes on. Next time we're in one of these places maybe we should ask "how are you?" Please and Thanks and maybe just a little smile to show pure appreciation ( If enough of us did it then there would be hardly and complaints as People would feel valued) I haven't had a happy pill- I've just realised that life is very, very short and retiring at 27 has made me realise this more in the 9 years since and we are a nation full of appreciation so we should show it more and drop the stiff upper lip and who the ones who work so hard for us a bit of respect even if its a smile. :)

Asked for the pharmacist to help me with getting medication for a UTI, was told to go to the doctors even though it was the doctors that has sent me to the pharmacist. They then said they cant do anything for me if I feel unwell. I explained I just have the normal symptoms of a UTI. I was shrugged off and told they couldnt do anything for me even though i was clearly in distress and in tears. It just seemed to me like they couldnt be bothered to help. Will definitely go to a different pharmacy in future.
