Evergreen Lodge Care Centre

I worked for this employer for approximately one month, firstly I would like to state that the staff are excellent, professional and genuinely caring, however due to a number concerns arising with data protection of my own personal information I felt I had to prematurly end my employment, my concerns where not taken seriously and I wasn't paid for the month I had worked, absolutely disgusting how I have been treated, seeking legal advice on the matter with a solicitor.

If I could rate lower than one star I would. My Brother was a resident there till July 2020, when he was admitted to hospital with a very serious and dangerous condition, that was literally ignored/missed by Nursing staff there, despite my Brother complaining of his pain and utter discomfort, and his family insisting he needed to be seen by a Doctor. Then to cap it off, after the hospital raised their safeguarding concerns about my Brothers condition and removed my Brother from this 'care' home, we were treated like the enemy by staff when we had to collect my Brother's possessions to move him to a different care home. To this day, my Brother is continuing to suffer both physically and mentally from this incident. The Manager appeared helpful and concerned but the rest of the senior staff were certainly not. None showed or expressed concern for my Brother, who had lived there with them for over 2yrs and who they all claimed to love having there. I only hope at the very least, that they have learnt lesson's from this. Although, I am sorry to say that this was not by any means the first serious issue my Brother experienced whilst living at Evergreen.
