Sadly a poor experience from what I thought, as Tech Outpost seemingly has great reviews. I took my iPad Pro in as it was crashing. They assessed it and concluded that the battery was in need of replacement. Martin, the owner informed me that it was a tricky job but "as he was the most experienced and the owner " he would do the job. I received the ipad back that weekend and was initially very pleased with the outcome. The screen hadn't been cracked, which I do know can be an issue for some repairs when they remove the screen so all good here. However, when I got it home I noticed that behind the screen and particularly when displaying on a white background there were partial shadows on display. I used the ipad for one days work and in the evening it crashed again.... same as the original fault I took the ipad in for. When I took it in the following morning, the owner informed me that I had "accepted all risks when I brought it in originally and that when replacing a battery it is not uncommon to have some shadow issues as the ipad needs to be heated up to remove screen. I accepted no risks here and if I had known this initially and that I wouldn't get my iPad as good as new again I wouldn't have had it repaired there. Where they did go wrong in my view is that the device issue hadn't been fully diagnosed properly. Battery cost 120 quid to have them replace and after them rediagnosing the crash issue over a week of testing they inform me that a chip had blown on the motherboard and if it was possible to get hold of one it would cost about 80 with fitting. At this point I decided to cut my losses and collected my iPad from Tech Outpost which is now useless and I am 120 out of pocket. I am now looking to purchase a new iPad now which is sad because up until the crash fault it was as new/very well looked after. I also found the owner to be rather condescending and arrogant when I attempted to challenge him regarding shadow marks under the screen. This is an extremely honest review. My advice would be to look elsewhere if you want a good and professional repair. Sadly, the owner cannot accept the review here and even resorts to lies about disclaimers and abusive language?? There is no point in elaborating further, when the owner warps and fabricates the real situation and my experience of Tech Outpost.

have a 90s laptop that had no sound Most places will not even look at it because of age one guy told me was going bin it the guys at Tech outposts said they have look very family had nice chat about 90s computer games works great It was a software problem told me how it was fix so happy thanks guys again

I needed help working out what was on a memory card today as I upgraded to new phone without memory card slot. Martin couldn't have been more helpful. He explained what files were on there, how to move them across and where I could get a USB case cheap to hold memory cards. He was really friendly as was his colleague (although didn't get his name). Would highly recommend them. Will definitely use them again if required.
