Something fishy going on at the Bromborough branch: Today i went in to look for some Salomon Alphacross trail shoes. The website had the version 4's at 88. I go the the wall display and they have the wall plaque, version 4's 88. But the shoe there is the version 3. No sign of the v4 anywhere. I ask the staff lady why is it different? She says the website and store are different stock, they don't have the v4. I decide not to buy and leave it. So, I check the website again when I get home and guess what, the version 3 is 70. So what's going on, Bromborough? Why are you advertising the v3 as a v4 at the higher price, since the staff already know that the v4 isn't available in store??? Edit: as I was in urgent need of a new pair of these, I ordered the 88 "v4s" off the website, which is showing the v4 style of shoe. I paid for next day delivery, 8. So guess what I received.... Yep, the v3 shoes. I was absolutely fuming!! Even the box sticker says Alphacross 3 gtx. I can't even be bothered returning or complaining about them as I know that customer services are a right shower of....
