    I felt compelled to edit this review in response to the reply received from Flooring UK. Firstly, I completed an online form on 29th July 2020 that included my contact details such as email address and phone number. I then received a phone call from a member of staff minutes later at precisely 1:58pm (I still have the phone records). We then arranged for a fitter to visit on 7th August to provide a quote. Nine days later on 7th August, nobody arrived and no communication was received. Frustrated at being continually let down by trade companies, I decided not to let this one pass, so I left a negative review. The following morning, the manager who was very apologetic contacted me via email and arranged to visit personally. When he provided me with a quote, I was reasonably pleased and agreed for them to proceed with the work. The manager said he would get in touch to make further arrangements. However, after he left I would receive no further contact or communication. I would then notice the reply to my negative review. The reply implied that their failure to make the initial appointment was my fault because I entered an "incorrect" phone number on the original contact form. Now, I am not able to verify if the phone number I provided on the form was "incorrect" but it seems strange that they were able to successfully phone me on 29th July without issue to arrange the appointment in the first place Also, why did they not show up for the appointment in any case? As far as I was concerned it was fully agreed and arranged. Did they think it was appropriate to simply not show up for an appointment because my phone number was "incorrect"? They most certainly had my correct email address at hand Also why did they not get in touch again after the manager's personal visit on 7th August? Did they expect me to chase them? The ironic thing is that I would have been more than happy to amend my review score were they able to provide a good service. But with the indignity of being ignored for a second time AND being practically blamed for their no-show I have decided that a one star review is perfectly justified.

    So thrilled with our stairs, landing and hallway supplied by Flooring Uk and fitted beautifully by their fitters Rich. Always does such a great job to a really high standard. Thanks so much Matthew Lee at the Wirral store, always so helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Always go to flooring uk for our flooring, reliable and high quality.

    I have just had a new stairs and landing carpet fitted for my Mum, as I live abroad all the organizing had to be done over the phone. Matthew was fantastic he sent someone around to my Mums house with samples of what I thought she wanted, she picked her favorite 2 then Matthew called me back and also emailed me photos of what she had picked!!! He kept within the price range I wanted and also advised me which was the better option for the area we needed it. Rich came to fit it, all done in no time all clean and tidy fantastic job!!!! I will without a doubt be using flooring UK Birkenhead and recommending to friends
