Lovely welcoming from staff and helpful lovely optician asked how my day was, how are you lovely service, good selection but not much but it was fairly good selection dont know staff names or optician name but they were so lovely I do recommend people booking a service with these lovely people 1000% recommend

I arrived with my husband yesterday afternoon for his appointment my husband Graeme could not fault the care and attention provided by Mike which was excellent. I also purchased two pairs of reading glasses for myself, and again Megan couldnt have been more helpful. Thank you Boots Opticians.

I had made an appointment on line for eye test and added that I'd like the free contact lens trial . I arrived to a warm welcome , lovely ladies at the front of the store . There was an issue with my appointment that was cleared up quickly. Then the dragon lady Optometrist came out. Very rude , condescending . She barked that I couldn't have a free lens test as I already wore contact lenses (I wanted to try the Multifocal) . She really was very rude and I was tempted to walk out , but I'd driven 20 mins . So I persevered . As she was doing my eye test I really felt I was putting her out , as if she had better things to do . And after all that she said I'd have to wait 21 days for lenses to arrive . My sister had been 2 weeks previously and couldn't praise them enough. But it was a gentleman that attended to her . I won't be going back there .

Most certainly the best eye care service I've experienced in all my years of visiting an ophthalmologist for a sight test and retinopathy check. Each stage of my examination was explained thoroughly and questions answered patiently, I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my visit. Mike is an absolute asset to Boots Opticians, I will most definitely be returning for my follow up appointment next year and in the meantime recommending Boots.
