Went in for a free battery and brakes test. Came out needing a mechanic repair. Won't be back.

According to the email received after booking on line for the MOT and general check out time slot it was 8-30 MOT then other work it should be carried out straight after the MOT I was there 8-15 the mechanic told me it's drop off I had to leave the car until 15-30 received a call to say the car was ready Something isn't right what i have been told in the garage and what's the email stated Please explain to me also don't get me wrong I will still use Halford wallasey garage Thank you Abdurrauf benmousa

Had to have headlights replaced here last year after they failed it on mot on renault clio due to fogging at massive expense despite it passing for the previous year at same garage without even an advisory! Low and behold found out halfords have taken them over explains the massive price increases and 'finding' extra work needing to be done. Took car to different garage this year for mot and been told they have not even wired in the new headlights correctly no working main beam wires not even connected fitted by an idiot so had to pay again to have them rewired. fitted by a mr merryweather at halfrauds he had not connected main beam wiring. Also broken both wheel arch liners when fitting them instead of undoing them correctly he chose to snap them off. Avoid this garage at all costs I have had this car from new and taken care of it just for these halfords mechanics to create damage to it and damage wiring bunch of complete scumbags.
