    I've had a problem with the waterbed heater although I am still wittin my two year guarantee the company I bought it from in Nottingham will have nothing to do with it no help what so evet,unless we pay them 130 .Telephoned Aquastar sleep systems couldn't have been more helpful replacing the heater with no problem. Thanks so much Aquastar will definitely be recommending you my faith has just been restored.

    We ordered 3 waterbeds through a stockist of Aqua star with no problems until now. The double bed we ordered has started to leak through our ceiling. This shocked us as the water beds are provided with a security liner that stops any leaks over flowing the water level of the bed. When we have started to drain the water bed down we have noticed that the water bed heater has melted along with the security liner and the water mattress. I have called aqua star the provider of mattress and heater to be told that I am a liar and that this NEVER happens. That we must have been running the water bed heater with no water ??????? that would make sense. Any normal person dealing with water would unplug the electrics first before emptying the mattress. And why would anyone sleep in a water bed with no water???. The water gets maintained every year with conditioner so no need to empty at all. The owner of the business was rude, unprofessional and I felt completely attacked. When I asked if this is how he usually deals with complaints he replied with "YES" he was not helpful in any way shape or form and as far as dealing with companies this is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. Especially when its the owner that was so rude. I am worried as I have two young girls sleeping on waterbeds and now I have the disruption of emptying the waterbeds(unplugged) and having to check the heaters. The stockist on the other hand which I won't mention as they have been nothing but professional mentioned that it has happened before and that its either due to the thermostat not working correctly or that the coil wires in the heater may have been placed to high. either way we spent nearly a thousand pounds just on our bed and 3 years later we now have to spend in excess of 500-600 pounds to but the thing right along with a damaged ceiling and floor. Happy New year and thanks for the great customer service.
