The Yarn Barn

Had a crochet lesson with Terri last night with my friend. Terri was very patient with us and it was much easier than trying to learn watching Youtube videos. We came away feeling very accomplished having learnt a chain, treble stitch and a granny square. Everyone was very friendly and nice and it was a very enjoyable evening spent in the Yarn Barn. We will definitely be returning for our next lesson. X

I visited for the first time today and met the lovely Terry who owns the shop. The name might be deceiving you to thinking it's nothing about fabric but she does have quite a bit but you have to ask and she'll show you the bolts and layer cakes and jelly rolls etc. It's all squashed in amongst all the creativity in there. There was a group of ladies knitting during my visit. Support local to keep such places open or they'll vanish and then you'll wonder how it happened!

Very friendly and helpful - I attended a class/ workshop and got some very helpful advice / tips to complete a soft toy I'm making. There's a good range of knitting yarns and fabrics if you sew. Loved it

After Terry's wonderful tutoring my new sewing machine has been mastered. It has now given me the confidence to get creative. Brilliant lesson, I would highly recommend lessons at the Yarn Barn.
