I recently moved back into the village after almost 50 years and am delighted to say it hasn't changed much.! As a keen cook I am always eager to source good quality products so decided to try Heseltine's. I remember the shop as a youngster and wanted to support local business's rather than pouring money into the big supermarkets. I have to say, I was most impressed with the warm welcome I received on my very first visit; a really friendly yet professional service. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating, but also seemed to have a personal touch, giving of their time freely to chat and offer advice; an attribute sadly lacking in today's consumer market. The meat and cheeses I have had to date have been of outstanding quality and I would not hesitate to recommend the shop to anyone. Despite offering exceptional service, quality produce, superb levels of cleanliness, the price makes this place a number one for any discerning shopper. I for one will continue to be a regular customer. Well done and thank you to Sean and both his fabulous butcher boys!!
