Jemma is such a sweetheart!!!Having her by my side during labour and birth of my second child was the best decision I could have made!I felt like having friend,mum and nurse with me in one person and thanks to her I would happily go give a birth again and again.She made such a difference in my birth experience compare to my first one.I will forever be grateful to her and not to forget she also was always there during my pregnancy whenever I had worries or doubts she always calmed me down and gave a valuable advice!I recommend her from the bottom of my heart!Thanks a million Jemma!xx

Jemma was with me in the hospital while I gave birth to my second daughter. It was a VBAC and a triumph. A natural birth, no drugs and no epidural. Just as I planned for. Only used gas and air. Although my husband was there with me too, Jemma's help was so important to us. She represented my interests in the hospital and just knew when to say something or to keep quiet. Just what I needed. Thank you, Jemma for your kindness, positivity and smile!

Jemma is wonderful at what she does. She was my doula for my second child after having not such a great experience the first time round. She gave me a voice and helped me to get the birth I wanted. She was there throughout my pregnancy and her support helped me to feel like "I got this!". I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel empowered during pregnancy, birth and in the postnatal period.

If you are browsing the internet looking for a doula, don't hesitate to contact Jemma. A chat with her will put you at ease immediately! She was a wonderful birth and post-natal doula for us. I actually contacted Jemma quite late in my pregnancy, searching for an emergency doula because my partner was unwell on my due date. She answered my message immediately, we had a chat on the phone that same day, my due date! and she came to visit me the day after. I easily opened up with her, even when we had just met! I shared my first birth trauma experience with my eldest son born in a hospital in London. I also shared the work I had done to prepare for the imminent birth of my second son (hypnobirthing, spinning babies class and other tools). I showed her the house, my birth plan and all what she needed to know. She was fantastic, she was encouraging, reassuring and supportive. I asked her to be our birth and post-natal doula. And we actually called her the day after for the birth. She was excellent during the birth, she knew what and when to offer help subtly, her touch was such a relief, and her words were the ones I needed to hear at tricky times like transition. We were blessed with a great birth experience and a great birth team. Jemma also came to support us in the early newborn weeks, and her "Closing the bones" session was amazing, highly recommended! She also took photos that I will treasure for ever. Of course, we would call her again to ask her to be our doula (if we get to have another one!), but this time we would call her first thing! and not last minute. Our experience with Jemma was fantastic! Being first time parents during a global pandemic and lockdown was definitely not what we had imagined our first pregnancy and birthing experience to be. We were planning for a homebirth (HB) and maintained that, even when all hospitals were shutting down their HB services. Our local hospital told us they would not send any support and that if we wanted to birth at home we would be completely on our own! I only felt safe at home and therefore decided to freebirth with the help of a doula. Jemma came to us a month or two before our original due date, and therefore we did not have the usual amount of time she allocates to clients to get to know each other in a relaxed manner. But the great news was that we clicked from day 1 and so we never looked back! She is a very caring, empathetic, and experienced doula, with great sense of humour and above all a passion for her job. She gave us great guidance and help both before and during the birth, always in tune with what we were comfortable with, so that we have an organic empowering experience. I felt in charge the whole time and where able to use my intuition and exercise my own choice throughout the whole process. I would strongly recommend Jemma, and if we were still living in the UK, we would definitely team up again with Jemma for baby number two. Ioanna and baby Molly xoxo
