Assured Screening - Ellesmere Port

Opted for Assured Screening on the basis of positive reviews on TrustPilot and the fact that their charges were not exorbitant. Ordered PCR Day 2 tests for my wife and myself to be taken on 3rd October. The test kits arrived on 2nd, my wife dropped the completed tests off at Ellesmere Port while en route to Liverpool on the evening of of the 4th and we received the results (both negative) 24 hours later. More than satisfied with the service. Also the application process seemed much less complicated than for another company which I investigated.

Was concerned given some of the reviews here (and I was ripped off myself last year by an unscrupulous covid tester), but no issues for me. PCR test done at their centre at 6pm, result by 2pm next day. Numerous emails throughout the process to say sample sent to lab, received by lab, in testing at lab, etc. Quite impressed by that. Price is far too expensive, but we can blame this useless government for that. No hesitation to recommend this place.

I would have given them a 0 if it was possible. My dad received a false positive result from assured Screening leading to him missing his original flight the next day. We were lucky that East Midlands airport had an early morning testing centre available the next morning, where he tested negative which meant he could fly the same day on another flight. Had we not done this Assured Clinic would have ruined my dads holiday for no good reason. IN MY OPINION, DO NOT GET TESTED FROM HERE. It is much better to go to an airport and do it from there as they have standards they have to uphold. Also, it is the same price so you don't lose anything.

absolute joke , gave me a retest result then a positive result all after the time frame i paid 79.99 for same day results, missed my flights. went and got a PCR NHS free test, arrived quicker and was negative. thanks for making me miss my flight due to your joke of a system

Expensive, test kit took seven days to be delivered and arrived on day 4 of quarantine. Actually posted day before arrival with 24hr Royal Mail post. Complained and was told it arrived within 5 business days so no refund. They are open 7/7. Still trying to work that one out. Test and trace told me it should have been there for day 2 test. I would not use this service again. I do not recommend this service.
