We needed a specialist stone mason to repair a very sorry looking sandstone wall. Many of the stones had corroded due to the extreme weather and a corner post, which was attached to a section of the wall due to a poor repair job by a previous owner, was leaning out. We spotted a sign for Steve Walling was they were repairing a similar sandstone wall close to where we live. The result of that job was fantastic, so we booked Steve Walling to do ours. The entire service has been fantastic! From the quality of workmanship, the care given, the expertise, a professional crew who were punctual and polite through to the finished job on our wall, which has stood for 100+ years now looks like it will stand for at least another few hundred! They crew replaced 7sqm of red sandstone, cut out mortar from the entire wall (approx 40ft), righted and secured the corner post, rebuilt the damaged wall then repointed the lot. The pavement was then jet washed on the final day. A top class job - five stars - great work guys!
