I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the lovely people at W. Williams & Son for the service provided in the organisation of my mum's funeral this week. From day one when I contacted Kate and when they collected Mum from home with dignity and compassion and right through to the funeral day with Sue and her team, we couldn't have been more impressed with the service provided. Thank you to you all. Highly recommended to anyone with the sad duties of funeral arrangements.

My mum came home where she wanted to be when however unfortunately even though we were given approximately a 4-6wk time scale the night we brought mum home just 6 days after discovering the devastating news she had already deteriorated so much therefore as a family we decided to call Laura to make her aware of the sudden changes. I have been lucky enough to know Laura through my husband's family and a couple of years ago she blew us away with how she really cared, supported and did absolutely everything she could to make this time easier if that's the correct wording as it most possible could and this is exactly what she did for us then so I was confident that without a doubt she would provide us with the exact same professional, caring and supportive way. Laura was caring, considerate and expressed supportively that she would be here for us when the time came. She went through exactly what would be needed for her to officially take mum so she could take care of her and the promise she would which I knew without a doubt, treat me mum with the dignity, care and love she would expect and want for her own relatives . Mum passed away at 2.51am, once legalities had been were finalised Laura and her team met us at her home. They were absolutely brilliant, they gave us all the time we all needed and when we were ready the team were so professional which most definitely helped us all in this devastating moment. Laura meet with the whole family as arranged and took us all through the arrangements of the funeral, we were able to speak with Laura in detail and confidence with what we wanted for our mum, what we thought she would have wanted and what she had managed to tell us what she wanted herself. We were able to put it all together making things exactly what we all perfectly would give our mum the send off she most definitely wanted and more! I was due to go with a one of my best friends on the Friday to my friends place in Spain following mum's passing on the Tuesday so after our meeting and making the final arrangements for mum's funeral my family encouraged me to go as I was back well within time for mum's funeral and it gave me time away. I was scared I wouldn't get to see her before in the Chapel of rest but Laura made this possible for me evening though it took us passed opening hours as she went above and beyond to make this possible for me to see my mum before I left. The day of the funeral came along, watching the Laura walk my mum down her road for the last time was the most heart-warming and most definitely gave mum the best send off and the very best goodbye she would of love. Jen our celebrant was a massive important to this also who told mum as she was at her best and this also was extremely important to all of us. We can't thank you all enough Jen. I know our Mum would have been so proud of what we all put together as a family and of Laura for all she gave... the support, the love and kindness. She treated like her like she was her own relative which I believe is what everyone wants especially throught difficult times like this. We can't thank you and your team enough, thank you so much for everything you did for us. We will never forget it and we will always appreciate it, forever
