Good location and easy parking for surgery. Reception staff helpful but booking system dreadful. It will take you a matter of several days and weeks sometimes to speak to a doctor so be aware! Some doctors better than others esp Dr Harris and Dr Askew. I was once misdiagnosed by 3 doctors over an issue and the advice made my injury worse until I finally pushed for a scan which showed ligament damage so it took 2 years to fix instead of 3 months due to incompetency! Update 2023 - reception staff have been really helpful since review 2 years ago. Have had no probs with blood tests etc as have been sent to other group practice when required. Upgraded star rating to 4. A surgery is only as good as the staff in it!

Always see my children very quickly. Emergency appointments also have been available as required by myself and my husband. Great care taken. Staff throughout are kind and compassionate. Would not relocate due to this surgery alone!

The worst doctors surgery Ive ever been to. They do not listen to you, and think they know youre body better than yourself. Ive been trying to get referred for a full thyroid function test for a long time now with no luck.. because my results show normal however, normal is different for every individual and I have every symptom of an under active thyroid, as well as the fact thyroid problems runs in my family. Some bloods show normal and this can happen for several reasons. For instance, some people may have elevated TSH levels that are not high enough to meet the criteria for hypothyroidism. Another possibility is that a person has a less commonTrusted Source form of hypothyroidism called secondary, or central, hypothyroidism. This occurs when there is a problem with TSH rather than with the thyroid gland. However, there are other types of hypothyroidism that do not always cause high TSH levels. Additionally, TSH testing may not always be reliable. A 2018 study found that TSH levels could show hypothyroidism in many, but not all, people. Mass spectrometry to measure thyroid hormones was more effective. With hypothyroidism tests, there is no standardized threshold for what is normal and what is not. This can mean that some people fall into a normal range with one test provider and into a high range with another.
