Moreton Dental Care

After being a Nhs patient with this dental practice for over 10 years and having the most amazing dentist . I attended an emergency check up yesterday to remove a tooth and to find out it was now privatised and ran by Bupa. I needed an extraction which Dr Lucy tried to do but left my mouth in a complete mess with the root of my tooth left. I feel after her saying she had 20+ years experience and after looking at my X-ray I feel she should of refereed me straight to the dentist who had the correct tools to complete the procedure instead of thinking she could do it herself. I was left horrified and shaking after the ordeal of her trying to pull my tooth out for which felt like forever. On leaving I was charged of a bill of 109 and still a decayed tooth root left in my mouth. I was then told Dr Hussain could surgically extract for 250 but then got a text message to say it will be 350. This practice can pick and choose their price its a joke. Im leaving the one star for Lucy for cleaning at least half of my teeth as a good will gesture. Safe to say I wont be going back after that experience Bloody awful

First visit waiting area very comfortable, dentist explained exactly what the problem was and what the main concerns were, option to see other dentist I felt relaxed and well informed.

I have visited this practice a lot over the last couple of years, the staff were so kind and helpful. Went for a check up earlier this year and its all changed. Got told I need treatment. I didnt feel comfortable at all, as felt the problem wasnt explained to me very well. As this treatment was going to cost me nearly 500, I decided to get a second opinion. I didnt have to the treatment. So I basically had to pay 60 for a check up, I felt was a waste of time and money. I will never go back to this practice.

Money focused practice. Cornered NHS patients to pay for treatment they cant afford or we have no choice to try get into a practice accepting NHS patients, knowing fully well that nowhere is taking on NHS Patients. And to be told Lucy, one of the long term dentists, doesnt take on any NHS patients at all, but only works 3 days a week. The dentists here have no heart to add an extra day solely for NHS patients. The dentists at this practice dont need the money if they can work half weeks. Theres no community focus or support with this practice. Moreton Dental Care spent years building customer confidence/trust just to knock it down.
