Wirral Met College, Conway Park Campus

Would not recommend Wirral Met College. Had a very poor experience as my tutor did not have an understanding of the current qualification or any relevant or up-to-date knowledge of the subject. After multiple students putting forward complaints about the tutor, she left part way through the year and my tutor group was left for 2 months without a replacement. A great deal of our work did not match the marks we predicted to receive and many of the students were forced to re-write whole assignments (baring in mind we all also had full-time jobs and study was intended to be part-time). I raised this issue to the fee appeals department who completely disregarded the information I had provided and did not send any sort of confirmation of the outcome of my appeal. Suspiciously the person dealing with my appeal called me to advise of the outcome after I chased this up, and stated there was no grounds for an appeal. I have subsequently moved my studies to LJMU who have been amazing and provide significantly more support for study and general advice.
