Banquet House

Since this place opened we have been meaning to try it at least once - we won't be trying it twice! My wife got me ginger and cinnamon duck and she had chicken in black bean sauce. The duck was well cooked but that is where the positives ended. It was expensive and bland and tasted of neither ginger or cinnamon. The black bean sauce was a vaguely savoury sauce which was also fairly bland. Considering the meals cost 18.50 we were utterly disgusted with the poor quality tasteless food - we won't be going back!

Would not recommend to anyone. Curry was bland, had no veg just processed slimy chicken, the yakitori was a sorry excuse for chicken. Nothing is fresh. Feel physically sick.

Poor portion sizes and expensive for what you get. Ordered Special fried rice, chips and 2 portions of curry sauce for 18!!!!!!! Wouldnt go again, ridiculous prices for average tasting food! Avoid at all costs

Ordered twice so far, once I ordered the salt and pepper platter box and it was top quality. Really light, didnt feel terrible after finishing it and the flavour was amazing. Second was the sushi, same quality again. An absolute gem offering something different
